GFI had released a new policy recommendation and solution database for cultivated meat

Good Food Institute (GFI) has released their report, where they module a cultivated meat production facility in the year 2030.

In the report, they had shown that switching to cultivated meat could lower its carbon footprint while staying cost-competitive with conventional meat. They had found that the production of cultivated meat could be as low as 2.92$ per pound.

They concentrated their finding when it comes to land use and carbon footprint in the table below.

The production facility can create up to 200 high-paying jobs, both in rural and urban areas, while opening more opportunities up in the supply chain.

The report had recommended few policies to allow to entire industry of cultivated to grow and succeed, including funding cultivated meat research; providing incentives and financing for cultivate meat infrastructure projects, and support agency effort to ensure that the industry will be safe, properly labeled.

In addition to the report, GFI has launched an entire solutions database, which will provide people with solutions to many of the problems facing the cultivated meat industry, which range from R&D to workforce and even demand.
